Start by cooking bacon in skillet or air fryer until crispy brown. Remove from grease, allow to cool, and crumble.
Season (salt and pepper, or whatever BBQ seasoning blend you like) and cook your chicken breasts in skillet with bacon grease or in air fryer. You can dice and cook in small pieces or cook whole breast and then cut into small pieces - whichever you prefer. Wash jalapeno peppers. Remove stems and cut in half long ways so that you are left with two pieces. Rinse under cool water to remove seeds.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon and cooked chicken pieces and mix.
Fill each jalapeno slice with a scoop of the cream cheese filling.
Cook in single layer in air fryer basket on 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Cheese should be nice and bubbly.
